I apologize if this has been discussed at length already, but I'm just looking for some clarification. I will be running my car in NASA TT4-5 this year, trying to finalize the parts I need. I would prefer to run as wide a tire as possible, but it would seem that 8.5 inches wide is the gold standard on these cars. I would prefer to run 9, but don't want to force the issue. If 9 inches is more trouble than its worth, or require me to run large spacers (something I don't want to do) I don't want to waste my time reinventing the wheel. (see what I did there?)
I don't care about stance, or looks, and don't care about rolling the fenders. Just looking for a definitive "Yes, its relatively easy and worth it" or "don't waste your time, you're an idiot, stay with 8.5".
Lastly, I was looking at these Neuspeed wheels, which are on sale and would seemingly fit the bill. Again, any suggestions are welcome. Thanks friends
