I should get mine powder coated to Sterling Silver. Sometimes they are a little TOO gunmetal gray for me.

Tried the German configurator. There's a tab to put "Zubehör"
(driver gear) wheels onto the car.

Oh god, stop. Your wheels are great. Pretorias! If you change your wheels again we're all going to publicly shame you.

*sigh* so purrdyyy.

I will also echo that I wish they were 18x8. If I didn't already have LW 18x8s, I'd be srsly considering these. Considering these are an inch thinner than the stock Pretorias I wouldn't be surprised to see these around 20lbs or less.

Nice new option!

will totally depend if they are manufactured using the same process, or a cheaper cast method like most other VW wheels..

Agreed, after all the 19" factory Pretorias are flow-formed, which
I'd put somewhere between conventional casting and forging. I'd
love to know if they also use this manufacturing process for their
18" Pretorias. Considering they're significantly cheaper compared
to 19" Pretorias and 18" Belvederes (Clubsport) I'm merely slightly
optimistic we'd get a record-breaking lightweight wheel. They still
could be rather same or similar weight as the 19s and they should
be lighter than those heavy Austins anyway.

(again, German configurator, new facelift model GTI with full LED headlights and 18" Pretorias)

My 18"x8" replica Pretorias are much heavier than my OWM 19" ones. I would say between 8-10 pounds heavier each. So, it's not because they are smaller that they are lighter.

I'm really liking these in light silver.
