18 GTI Se DSG high mileage waterpump.

I bought my 18 GTI new. Funny thing it has been using coolant since new. Only in cold temps. Now at 105k miles. Weirdly it's not using coolant. What gives?

I've had my 17 since new sometimes use up some coolant, at 75k miles now. Still can't find any waterpump or reservoir leak anywhere.

Maybe a small leak that overtime got clogged. Problem solved!

Depends on how much coolant was lost. If it has been refill then it shouldn’t over heat.
