My brother picked up a 7D and 100mm macro lens the other day and I decided to play with his camera and the lens on my T1i.

might just be me, but most of your pis are blurry and don't have great focus.. keep working at it!

the water droplets one is really good but the rest of them are very average

I think it looks like any picture someone would take with a standard point and shoot... you've got to be creative with your picture taking. That seashell for example is very boring and in very poor lighting and you just take a picture really close to it, it's not allowing the equipment to shine at all.
