I understand that, but the numbers don't show a 1/2 second faster 1/4 mile times with 10whp. That 13.8 was also a 5 speed manual with DR's, my auto will never see that time.

I'm interested to know how stage 2 vs stage 1 feels with the automatic in regular driving. I know when I put my downpipe on, the faster response and faster spool were noticeable. That's with JB1.

My hope is that the Stage2 APR would be even better.

I hear ya...Just don't know if $700+ would be worth it. OP said he couldn't feel a big difference from Stage 1 to Stage 2...

Going from stock to Stage 1 was a big bump. Not so much for stage 2, but that could also be due to traction. Not like it was hard to roast the tire on a first gear launch stock. It felt quicker, but just don't expect the same improvement as going to stage 1 from no tune.

He had a 2.4xx 60' time. I don't think drag radials were part of that. If they were, he wasn't taking advantage of them. Also, I wouldn't give the stick that much credit. Yes it will allow for a potentially quicker off the line, no one is shifting that fast with a stick. I don't Cathie good of a driver they are. Too bad there is not a tiptronic tune out yet. Then it would be a whol different story. Also, Per APR, 0-100mph are 13.45 fo stage 1 and 12.17! For stage 2. That is a fast as hell 0-100. Especially for a front wheel drive. If you're happy with stage 1, then your happy, no worries.

The "tiptronic" 6 speed isn't as fast as the DSG shifting wise. But relative to history, it's no slouch. And it holds boost between shifts. It can be quick. It can post very respectable DSG and manual embarasing times.

There is no tune. But the tiptronic does very well in manual mode. I just wish that there was a setting in between sport and D for daily driving. A good a 'set it and forget it' mode. Take off and shift like sport, but settle down and cruise like D. And don't try to hold lower gear as long as D does. I hate that D waits till the car bucks before it shifts down. Is it really worth the extra .05 mpg EPA rating?

It would be nice if there was a way to firm up the shifts and change the rpm it shifts at though. Even in sport. I feel like it revs too far out of the power band. Should probably shift between 5-5,500 at most. Mine goes well past 6,000 in sport mode. I feel like it's falling off pretty good at that point. Dyno charts show the same thing
