Can't say I'd recommend if you plan on staying stock height. Had to do some silly stuff to not rub the fuel filler neck at ride height. Front poke is quite noticeable and I may have to do the fender screw mod to not rub while hitting curbs at VIR this weekend.

8.5s would be the easy button. I talked myself into 17x9s only because they fit the AP Racing BBK which I plan on doing at some point, and I WILL be adding camber as well. I just really wanted one more event 100% stock suspension first to get a baseline.

Edit: they do look friggin awesome though! I'll probably buy another 1-2 sets for daily and/or rain(track) tires eventually. Normally not a fan of black wheels but because of the Rabbit Edition accents, I don't think anything else would look quite right.

Thanks alot for that info. This morning I literally had the race silver 17x8.5 in my cart. And when I got home from work I decided I was gonna pull the trigger and they literally took all 17x8.5 off the website. 😑

Got the SM-10s installed and have been breaking them in. 17x9 et42, wrapped in 245/45/17 Indy 500. They work out to be about 3.5mm taller than the 235/40/18 that I was running before, and due to the size of the spacers that I was using, these have the same poke.

So far, no rub from the front tires despite one auto-x run, and hitting highway merges with more speed than is recommended. With this being said, I am nervous about the rears. Under normal conditions the car sits just fine and the gap is sufficient, but while installing these I have seen evidence of tire rub on the fender due to overloading the rear of the car (two bikes + 2 weeks of gear hitting seriously large potholes). If I see more evidence of rubbing, I'll switch to 245/40/17 for the next tires.

Otherwise, I am loving these. Love the look, love the added cushion. Wish that PS4s were available in the size, but will switch to the PS5s when I can get my hands on them.

One note. You WILL get debris thrown all over the place. Even with the Rally Armor flaps, there is a tremendous amount of spray. This is the same as when I had the spacers on, and for this car, I'm not concerned, but for your own car, you may want to consider this.

Overall, loving the wheels.

Here's a few more in the daylight for reference. Plus my alignment specs since that was done 2 days ago.

Have you tried the Indy 500s prior to these wheels? They've been getting praise for being a good tire for the $$$. I'm hearing they are not good from a dig but are fine if your roll racing. Are you at stock ride height? I was considering 245/45/17 over 245/40/17 just to fill more gap at stock height.

I was finally able to purchase 17x8.5 but decided on Race Silver. The fact my car is White Silver it may look muted and plain which is a look I'm going for actually. Going into work I have to park in a train station Lot, that kids meet up on weekends and go bonkers. I've seen cars on cinder blocks coming home from work so I want the car to look nice but not that nice. Lol.

WOW! Love the new setup, should be a day and night difference out on the track! Grip for days!

Loving the meat! I think this is the first non-Alltrack I have seen running 245/45-17 tires. Now you have me thinking about running that size on my own GSW.

@APEXWheels any word on those black m14x1.5 lugs?
I was really hoping they would be up by now but our IT guy has been slammed with development on some new projects. We just finished all of our new product photography for the new VW/Audi hardware, so it's just a matter of him getting them live on the site. If they aren't up by EOD today, I will send you a PM tomorrow to get you sorted with a manual order for a set of lug nuts.

Yesssssssss

Now if you guys sell some 5x112 spacers I won't need to shop anywhere else :)
Way ahead of you! We actually placed a stocking order with our hardware manufacturer for VW/Audi spec 5x112 spacers at the start of the year but unfortunately, there were a few delays along the way. That said, they will be shipping out to our warehouse next week and should be available for purchase around mid-late June. Initially, we will have 3mm and 5mm options in both Silver and Black finishes. We plan to guage demand and pivot with adding other sizes moving forward.

Perfect timing! I'm planning on adding more camber to my car, shooting -2.7-2.8 up front and -2 in back, I might need that 3mm spacer to prevent rubbing on the fuel filler pipe in the rear with more camber.
