Got to test out my new track setup, 17x9 SM-10 with 245/40/17 Hankook RS4, for the first time this past weekend. Worked great and helped me gain confidence pushing the car harder. I'm on completely stock suspension besides an ST rear sway bar and didn't experience any rubbing or fitment issues. I was at The Ridge Motorsports Park which has a good amount of elevation changes and hard compression areas too.

They also look great :)

What a bloomin fantastic photo! I'm about to order some RS4. I took advantage of the memorial day sale and am considering 255/40R17, but they might be a bit wide? Did you even need the fender screw mod with the 245? Any noticeable difference in ride over the stock wheels? I have 19 Englishtowns on my R atm.

In celebration of Memorial Day, we’re kicking off a sale on our popular SM-10 wheel lines. Whether it be the feature-rich Evolution Line Flow Formed variant or the fully Forged Sprint Line SM-10RS, we’ve got you covered.

ETA on these being available?

Thanks! Photo credit goes to Aries Photo who shot the event.

I didn’t need the fender screw mod with the 245. I went with 245 over 255 mainly to avoid any fitment concerns without a lot of suspension mods and lots of others recommended it in the 200tw thread. The 245 RS4 ended up fitting pretty square on the 9” wheel. Hard to comment on the ride since I just drove to the track and back so far. In that short time it did ride better than I expected for a stiff sidewall tire.

Yup stock. No plans to lower.
Should not rub. I have mostly stock suspension (sway bars and some extra camber). Run the 255/40R17s RS4s on the SM10s.

Can snag a few pictures later today if you’re interested

I know a lot of you have been anxiously awaiting the official release of our new VW/Audi 18x9" ET42 VS-5RS, and I really appreciate everyone's patience while the first batch of these wheels have been wrapping up production. With that being said, I am happy to report some very exciting news! As of this morning, the 18x9" ET42 VS-5RS is officially live on our website and is currently open to pre-orders at a 10% discount off MSRP.

The pre-order phase will carry on through the end of our upcoming 4th of July sale. With that in mind, if you are looking to pick-up a set at a discount, now is the time to do so to ensure you get your preferred finish color locked-in before the first production batch sells out. Currently, the 18x9" ET42 VS-5RS will be offered in Anthracite, Brushed Clear, Satin Black, and Satin Bronze at launch. If there are any particular finishes anyone would like to see for the second production run, please feel free to let me know, as we will be gauging demand throughout the pre-order phase.

At this time, we are expecting the first batch to arrive at our warehouse around late July/early August. These wheels will be arriving in two different shipments, so certain finishes might be showing up sooner than others.

Over the next couple of weeks, I will be working on getting these wheels added to our applicable fitment guides, as well as getting some content prepped to share with the VW/Audi community. It is important to note that while these wheels have the same fitment as our 18x9" ET42 Flow Formed SM-10s, they DO NOT have the same brake clearance. There are a few certain brake kits that this new wheel will not be able to clear (8-Piston TTRS/RS3 front brakes, for example), so if you have a larger aftermarket BBK, please do not hesitate to reach out to confirm brake clearance before pulling the trigger! That said, the 18x9" ET42 VS-5RS will still be able to clear all of the factory MQB VW and non-RS MQB Audi OEM brakes, as well as the vast majority of popular OE+ (Macan) and aftermarket BBKs.

If anyone has any questions regarding the ordering process, fitment, brake clearance, etc, please do not hesitate to reach out!

I might've missed it, but are the weight of these vs the SM10
The 18x9" ET42 Flow Formed SM-10 weighs ~21lbs each, while the 18x9" ET42 Forged VS-5RS weighs ~17.7lbs each. Its a pretty significant difference in overall unsprung weight and you would definitely notice it if you drove both wheels back to back.
