Get the GTD, if you only had the TDI you would only regret not having one every time you saw one

As the post title my GTD has only done 12k but coming up to 5 yr old and the VW dealer has suggested the recommended cam belt change. What does everyone think ? should get it done or wait till ?

How many miles in that few weeks ? Also can idle up if the battery is low and you have the A/C and a lot of electrics on

Yep the more I drive the car now I realize that it is quite an improvement and turned the car into what I was wanting, remapped effortless performance, its quite a joy to drive :D

Update Quieter without a doubt although hardly silent but at least now the noise now sounds like road/tyre noise instead of wheel bearings and you can differentiate between the different road surfaces. Sounds feels tighter and together somehow, a definite improvement in the overall feel.

Managed to get one (last in the UK) from Martin @ Audi Sunderland, very quick and helpful next day service in answer to my online request. Fitting today hopefully :)
