Really depends on the tire. Some will work better oversized than others. More width isn’t always faster if you’re flippin and floppin, I would wager. Responsiveness from a well supported tire surely counts for something?

Totally agreed! I saw the total eclipse in 2017 and I was SO glad I did. It's such a unique and incredible experience itself, plus all the interesting scientific things you can observe leading up to it. Highly recommended.
