    That’s an interesting piece. It doesn’t look like it preserves the separation of the two exhaust channels. Which seems like a strange choice, to me. But I don’t know anything. Because it seems the one value of this would be to be able to use a twin-scroll full frame turbo.

    VW claims these exhaust manifolds are setup for twin scroll. I wonder why that option is not implemented, except via APR’s Borg-Warner adapter, and supposedly with Garrett’s 2260s. Or … I‘ll email Zage and see if they’ll make a GTX3067R twin-scroll.

    If you’re good, removing the turbo and reinstalling it is 5 hours; if you’re really good, less; but if you’re not good, like my first and second and third times, it’s like 10-15 hours of frustration. That lower oil line - I still have PTSD from that.

    Thank you guys for your responses. Aaron, it’s an L380x turbo. With those thick Ebay intercooler, they are basically moved back towards the engine, and that charge hose that goes between the charge pipe and the intercooler gets kinked when it’s making its S-bend. I’ll take another look at that...
