My understanding was they make R’s in February and that’s it. That’s exactly the way it was in 2019 when I ordered mine. But I’ve also noticed that here in the Charlotte area there are still some for sale a sticker price.

Thank you, but this car has 55k miles and 14k ago when it was aligned the tech looked at all suspension parts at my request and it was solid. I will have the alignment done tomorrow, the toe set to almost zero, and I’ll report the initial findings before any adjustment. Thanks again.

Yes, the damn new tires wore out too fast. They had 14,000 miles on them when one went flat with steel belts protruding, and the appearance of delimitation.

No to all your questions. Car always garaged. Rarely gets 40 in Charlotte. Rears are are fine. Suspension is fine. Wheels are Neuspeed are are fine. As o said, no track days, no bouncing off curbs. Thanks for the reply.

Here is the alignment settings from one year ago. How would this destroy two new tires in 15,000. Not possible. I would be interested in anyone’s comments as to how this cause this wear. Maybe I’m missing something?

I drive in traffic 90% of the time so there is no opportunity to drive aggressively. I’ve never had an alignment that should any corner to be far out of alignment. Thanks for your reply

The buttons on the bottom only appear when your hand gets close. Now I won’t go away. How do I fix this? Thank you for your advice and/or solution.

I did. Bought the car new, made the dealer sell me the spare and Jack at their cost to seal the deal.

I’m also curious because I heard that an entire intake replacement can cause check engine light problems, which I don’t need at all. Again, thanks for all the replies

Can’t find any real mention on K&N filters on a Golf R. I’d appreciate anyone’s comments. $350 doesn’t sound like a lot, but only if it works as advertised. Thanks in advance for any comments

When I bought my 2019, to seal the deal I made the dealer sell me a spare and associated Jack, etc, at their cost. It fits nicely in the well, and the speaker fits inside it. There is a provision on the trunks floor to raise it to clear the spare, only about an inch. I’d strongly suggest it.
