MK7 "Random / "Stupid" Questions Thread"

Anyone want to play a game of parts cannon with me? My guesses and symptoms are below: A) Waterpump / Thermostat (did I get 2 bad water pump assemblies, stuck open therm?) B) N82 Shutoff Valve (stuck open?) C) Aux water pump (doesn't this usually throw a code?) D) Heat Core (plugged up?)...

    Oil Loyalty

I never stated its better than anything else. I understand reading comprehension and your ego are colliding. My comment still stands. What specifically, do you not understand? I'd be happy to help. If I can buy (1) type of oil, to use in several platforms... there's inherent fiscal value right...

    Oil Loyalty

Usually sarcasm is obvious and funny, your comment was neither. To insinuate that I'm regarded in the way your post read... wasn't funny to anyone other than your bf. It's okay - we can agree to disgaree here. I never claimed T6 was better than anything else. I stated it works great in...

    Oil Loyalty

Everyone has a butthole, and an opinion. However, you shouldnt share both of them if they both stink. I have lab reports from using T6 in 325i, lawn mower, Yammie R6, etc. But please go on - you need more internet points! I'd hate for your ego to feel challenged.

Blackstone labs are easy to find on google, friend. I also have my own blackstone lab reports from running T6 in the aforementioned 3 series, lawn mower, etc. Are you usually protecting your ego on internet forums?

    Oil Loyalty

Oh there is a great reason to use Rotella, everything worked well with it: My BMW 3 series, Crotch Rocket, Lawn Mower, door hinges, etc

Up to 16%?? thats pretty hefty if the rotational mass is the same

MK7 "Random / "Stupid" Questions Thread"

I would argue that you get less MPG because the rotational mass is heavier than your summer setup

What did you do to your mk7 today?

I did read that... I think it was from you actually. The B14's feel stiff?

What did you do to your mk7 today?

LOL... I replaced the passenger side rear spring about 3 weeks ago. Low and behold, the drive side decided to let loose this weekend. I am SO tempted to just go B14's and be done, but I already almost scrape getting into my driveway & push snow in the winter.

What did you do to your mk7 today?

I was a degenerate in my 20's.... its taken a long time to even get to 700 score. I just crossed the 750 mark before paying off my loan. Excited to see what kind of buying power this will yield for me soon

What did you do to your mk7 today?

I know most of you got it "like that" but I officially paid off my 2015 Golf & feels superb. Now I can slap on all the fun bits that I've been accumulating over the years and store under my bed lol

Recall soon for rear springs on 56k VW’s

Not sure why I am being wrongfully quoted. I never said any of those things! I will say... its one of the EASIEST repairs to do yourself. Literally 30 minutes, and most of that time is taken to make sure the car is supported on jack stands. Buy a rear spring from RockAuto. Go into the...

    P00B7 Engine Coolant Flow Low

Surprised no one else replied to you. I just want to say, be very careful using a "Sealant" product. Motors have VERY small coolant passage ways, and you would hate yourself if this became a bigger issues because a bandaid was used longer than necessary. No shop worth their marbles, would ever...
