Okay I think I am understanding what you are saying. Essentially you have to make sure that the endlinks are in a neutral position when tightening everything down, otherwise binding may occur.

Gonna give it a shot, just installed with the cut out. I was going to install the JSR can but it’s really tight back there with the blaze intake setup so I left it off for now. I probably could have made it work but things would be touching so I decided against it.

I will definitely be giving the cutout a try. I am a hybrid turbo 2015 GTI and I have been able to induce smoking on the street with the full retrofit. Now I also got the knockoff BMS catch can, but have yet to install it. Should I throw that on when I perform the cutout?

I will grab a picture tonight. tried orienting them forward facing but it didn’t seem like there was anyway that it would work. The passenger side has them mounted on the rearward side originally so I didn’t imagine that anything would be any different when installing the coilovers.
