I'm up to 40k miles of daily use now. Mine doesn't really make a squeaking noise that I can hear but it definitely makes the grinding noise if I don't use enough revs when starting out in first gear.

If you don't do a lot of long highway trips far away from home I'd run them if they look to be in good shape and there's no signs of dry rot or cracking.

Keep an eye out for a good deal on a nice set of used GTI seats, they're a mod you can enjoy every time you get in the car.

I'd leave it alone if it's not leaking. I just had a second "opportunity" to replace mine when I swapped to a Golf R transmission last week. I did a clutch 3 years ago at 50k, now I have 87k miles and the RMS was still dry as a bone.

I work 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends so I also have a lot of weekdays off, the 7th just isn't one of them lol. Week days are *definitely* better for these types of drives.

An acquaintance of mine rolled his '19 ND 30AE at CMP a couple years ago and Hagerty paid out his claim minus the deductible without any issues. I buy the coverage when I track my own '19 ND. I hope to never have to actually use it lol.

Is the surface chip sealed? I did a track day at Talladega Gran Prix last year and it murdered tires due to some chip sealed surface, especially on the right front like above.

Per EMD they are indeed for the Golf R.

EMD lowering springs with rear spring pads. The part number is EMD-MQB-LSK. I used these on my GSW although I believe they were made for Golf R. They're in good shape as seen in pictures, $150 shipped.
