Well, let me see what I can figure out.

So this pump is going to fail? Haven’t seen anything about one failing. Do all aftermarket LPFPs fail? First time dealing with this.

I never said anything about having received an OEM pump. I was responding to Ezekiel81923 with the RS3 pump.

Well, not sure I can return it. But I will see what I can do and hopefully this will get resolved. Otherwise, the car is driving great.

I would have thought an RS3 pump wouldn’t give issues since it’s an OEM product but go figure.

Just installed an EQT LPFP into my GTI on Tuesday (I had my shop do it since I was being lazy). The fuel gauge was at the same level after install and was going down after that. I’ve been learning a lot of lessons lately including I can’t pin the ECU for my Cobb flex kit, having to order another harness from Cobb. Doh.

As for the line down the middle, not sure what that is but I have seen lots of the same tires with that line. It has normal wear indicators. They really don’t look dry in the person though. But I am not mounting them. I posted them on Facebook marketplace for $200 disclosing the dates of the tires.

I live less than 3 miles from there. I’ve been filling up there and adding 2 gallons per full tank. Waiting for EQT to come out with their flex tune so then I can update my tune. Or may just get an e30 tune.
