Is a "Stage 1" worth it?

Do an APR stage 1 of your choice (I highly recommend the 93 octane low torque) and then enjoy the car.

    Oil Loyalty

Liqui Moly. 5w40 Leichtlauf for my GTI. Ran it in my 2008 Rabbit for 123K miles, and currently in the 2016 GTI with 85K miles. All indications are it is working just fine. I never add oil.

Light cutoff on new headlights goes up

Are they "E-code" ? Most headlights I've ever gotten from Europe for my cars in USA were like that. It's by design.

    Cam adjuster leak?

Mine is doing it around that area and on the oil pan around that sensor in the middle of the pan. 82K miles. It's time to do some maintenance I guess.

(Poll) Neuspeed RSe10 Summer Wheels - What color/finish should I get?

I love the satin gunmetal with my RSE11's + Tornado Red. If I had to replace my wheels and gunmetal wasn't available I would try a satin bronze.

Oil on camshaft magnet connector plugs?

If it was me (and most likely an actual mechanic would agree) I would have changed those seals if I was changing the timing chain cover. You'd see an obvious leak around the area if it was bad. Is it the one just below the oil cap? Could have been someone being super sloppy pouring oil in the...

APR Ultralink - At Home Flash Tuning is Here!

Good lord dude, at no time have they made a claim of getting around the flag. Stop being an obtuse goofball. Try reading. You're a giant TROLL. You are literally making up something that APR never stated, and arguing with nobody about what you have made up. Just go away.

    APR Spring 2023 Software Sale!

There are a lot of ignorant people out there, but hopefully you haven't come up with that notion based on what you see in this poorly run "forum". APR rocks. 55K trouble free miles of Stage 1 APR goodness so far.

MK7 GTI over 100k, what am I in for?

Nothing magical or otherwise happens when you turn over 100K miles :) Sounds like you're on track to drive that thing for another 100K.

    What oil do you run?

You certainly can't go wrong with it. That's all I've run in my last two VW's. My 2016 MK7 is at 72K miles now, I've never had to add oil between changes. It helps a little when you're the world's greatest driver like I am, but it's great oil regardless.

    2016 Autobahn Sluggish

Ummm, you have two MPG screens. One is your AVERAGE, the other is in REAL TIME. Do you know which one you are looking at? Please explain what you mean about being in manual mode and having to "move the lever several times" What lever are you talking about? When was your last DSG...

My fuel filler drain tube was clogged

Compressed air is not the best choice. .95 string trimmer (weed wacker) line works excellent. Just ran it down through the gas door drain without issue.
