    Turned out one of the inner brake pads in the front was worn way down and the retaining clip was tickling the rotor. Inner pad was down to nothing, outside ones had 50-60% left. Visual walk around inspection by the shop failed to turn this up. New pads and rotors on the fronts.

    Ate a curb so bad right rear tire that I almost barfed and then had discount tire put the tire on my spare rim so I could get this one refinished. Pulled out of a bank drive through, and the curb was longer than I thought.

    Diesel did work. Used dried up baby wipes and diesel and soaked the adhesive stuff then just rotated working between the 4 rims when progress stalled. By the time I came back to the stalled sections they were ready again.

    Took the non-winter wheels out of the garage and removed two years of wheel magnets and adhesive garbage from 3 sets of tires. I’m getting the AS3+ road force balanced and I wanted fresh rims free of previous magnets. You wouldn’t believe what a pain in the ass this was. Used WD40 for a while...

    I think you’re right about diminishing vision. I only use them when I need to see better at low speeds like in my alley.
