Prices vary. Folks always jump in these threads with "I paid $200". Any reputable shop using OE parts that makes money is going be close to the alldata rate....some a bit higher some a bit lower.

What did they charge you?

I paid a bit over that for genuine OE VW parts and labor at my indy shop. That work is warrantied for 3 years/36K parts and labor. VW reimbursed me $1150 for the job so that seems to be about right/book rate for it.

My young son got one for Xmas one year...the video is epic.

8 year old car, at this point, some repairs are to be expected.

Road surface. Temps. How often and how you rotate them. Alignment specs. And so on. Driver/driving style - for sure. I don't track the ECS, I have a dedicated set of 17x9s with 200s on them for track. I do drive the car hard frequently.

So many factors involved.

I run the Superpro TA bushing and 034 r. subframe insert...great setup.

These will be what I replace my worn out ECSs on my summer wheel set with. Have worked well. Quiet. Nice ride. Great grip. I got about 24K mi out of them and they are at/beyond the wear bars.
