It's probably the rubber band tires, but without a clip of the noise, I'm just typing on the keyboard. If the nose sounds like it's resonating everywhere, it's probably the tires; a wheel bearing will resonate from a more specific area.

You may be able to do a patch reinforcement from the underside, but for the disassembly required to get to that point, I'd see if you could find a new cover altogether. EDIT: What I found, assuming it's the driver's side. 5GM-881-405-AM-EVT

That's what I'm thinking. It's likely a sensor that gets depressed when the glass is down, so it may think the sunroof is closed.
