Times are looking great for 29psi. Overboosting a bit, but that is trademark standard housing life lol. And likely a product of that clogged cat and scaling you had to try before the catless downpipe. Do you have 4/5 Bar sensors?

I would trim back the WG a bit in the 5000/5500 cells. Just 0.01/0.02 lower in that region at a time. Try & get it to hold the 3000mBar request more closely. Can also rescale RPM your Max PR map to better control spool in the 4000-5500rpm regions. Same with the PUT map.

I see why you said @arob157 b157 you have to really push the vortex top end to force flat boost above 28-29 psi. I also see why people purchase the XL housing later...😅

The standard housing Vortex will easily make 33-34psi through 7200rpm. But will be running out of steam/making a decent bit of heat. XL housing really helps with that. You are running 49% WG up top. She has a lot more to eat.

Yeah I'm still getting things back under control from the clogged dp. I had it within 50-75mb before. I have a 4bar, but not a 5 yet. If I can pull these times in Florida heat and humidity. 8's should def be possible in 60* weather. Thanks for the tips!

Sorry folks, I'm trying. I just never get enough road. 😅 29-28psi E50 15* of timing. It was 81* outside. I hate that my dragy never shows accurate temps, but I'll prob buy a 5bar here soon so I can hit high 8's 60-130 when the temps drop.

Learned an interesting fact this morning, the more you lean out the RS3 pump, the more you have to trim the wastegate. I've trimmed the RS3 duty to 51% and my boost is more inline than it has ever been. This is a pretty log if I say so myself. I just need to figure out how to trim out 4th gear. I am wondering if I should make duty flat instead of slowly increasing.

3rd gear felt the best it's ever felt. Mainly because my fuel system isn't working hard to pull so much fuel. One thing I learned tuning GM cars is that getting ltfts within + or - 7 is the sweet spot for power.

Update*
Best run so far with much more left on the table. Waiting on a 5 bar so I can run 31-32 psi. Hopefully with some good weather and I can hit an 8.90. I'd totally be happy with a 9.10-9.15.

This is with 28-29psi 14* of timing.

I added a CTS OCC to help with blow by and smoking on start up has def subsided.

In other news I have made this car crazy consistent. Within 10* the car runs identical times. I'm sure it will go faster on the current setting with colder weather, but I need grippier tires. Anything colder than 55*, I got nothing. This is 15.5* and 29-30psi flat.
