Is there a place in the midship in front and back. ie crossbar that u can place a jack and jack up the whole end
And place jack stands at the 2 corners??

There are two reinforced seam weld spots on each side that are safe for jacking the GTI. The one in the front is basically below the side mirrors, and will lift the front and back at the same time on the side being raised. Unfortunately that's the location to place the front jack stand, but you can find a safe spot under the front subframe or suspension mounting point that the jack won't be in the way of.

Oh ok. Not the best solution, but NOW i know where it is safe to put the stand

What i do is jack up the rear pinchweld just enough to place a stand at the lowest level under the front pinchweld. After that theres enough space under the front bumper to jack up the whole front end from the subframe, either side of the dogbone mount
