How long before the battery runs down and the alarm goes off?

I've had one of these for 2-3 years. It will start my V8 p/up and my lawn mower. I've inflated car tires with it. It seems well made and the case is nice, it holds a charge a good bit. The case fits below the trunk shelf if it's in the upper position and I believe it will fit inside the spare if you use the lower position

Bought a compact jump starter which I'll keep in the boot. Thanks everyone. Now last question (which shows how little I know): Where do you clamp the negative? Battery diagram clearly says not to use the negative post.
