70. Car sounds like a rally car in the cabin now; I like it, and the vibrations are smoother than stock mounts + aggressive dogbone.

Actually does look like you have a good amount of rubber to protect the rim on those 225s.

I had 235/40 AS3+ on my 8” aftermarkets on my last GTI, the lip was awesome, meaty appearance + good protection. I wish I had 245/40’s on my current RSE10 setup which is 18x8.5 (I have same width 235’s on the .5” wider barrel compared to previous car).

Gave the front sway bar end links a few ugga duggas as I was getting some clunking from up front. Also did a general once over of the front suspension. First track day of the season next Saturday!

I’ve personally ran ps4s 235s on a 8.5 and replaced with a 225 ps4s on the sand wheel in efforts to gains some clearance when aired down...

Results: gained next to no extra clearance, lol. The size difference is so minimal when you really think how small 5 mm per side is lol

Actually does look like you have a good amount of rubber to protect the rim on those 225s.

The bead juts out past the wheel before tapering in towards the tread, so unless I’m not paying attention it should be hard to curb these.

Brought it home a friend. She said make it fast. Going to throw the JB4 on it. Already replaced the side markers with some smoked ones. Not a fan of tire shine slathered on sheesh
