Every time I order wheels from tire rack I just order a set of aluminum hubcentric rings on Amazon for ten bucks. Work much better than plastic ones and I've never had a problem with em.

Neuspeed has a sale right now for Black Friday so I went that route. 30-40 more per rim than tirerack options but I know I won’t have an issue.

Good choice, I have 17x8 RSE05's for my winter setup. The wheels are lightweight, use stock hardware, and easy to clean.

This is my setup. I recently went with the recommended oem winter tire size of 205/50/17 instead of the 225/45/17 like my last set. I don’t really notice a change in the way the car handles between the two sizes. I was having major feathering in the rear with the wider tires. Not sure what that was about but had the alignment and struts checked and was told everything looked good. Gonna see how the oem size goes this year.

The rear tires started to feather or wear unevenly on one side of the tire. This is typically an alignment issue but alignment was within spec so not sure what the unusual wear was all about. The only thing I can think of is my commute was mostly on dry highway pavement and I guess that is not great for the wear on a deep snow winter tire.

Maybe feathering was not the best way to describe the wear. They weren't cupped but the tread blocks definitely wore at an angle on the inside of the rear tires.

I’m running 235/45 17s. No issues.
