Short answer is no. From talks here on forum.
I think it takes much programming.
Someone might be able to but might be as easy to buy me car if this is a must.

Sadly - no. MIB I Discover Media isn't able to deal with the
increased resolution of the MIB II Discover Media display.
On a side note, MIB II Discover Media are retrofittable with
the larger Discover Pro display. VW themselves did a small
batch of the very first MIB II Disco Med with Pro disyplays
as they where short of Disco Media displays at that time.

It's also possible to use the MIB2 8" glass screen display (with those 2 turning knobs)on a MIB1 Discover Pro.
You need a little converter "thingy" Made by Suwtec:

Usually the Answer Is No, MIB 1 display doesnt support the resolution the MIB 2 unit sends.
this adapter is new to me, didnt know about it. but I Dont think its worth paying 110 euros for an adapter, its the price of a used MIB 2 display from ebay, but thats just my opinion
