Hi Tim.

You are correct, the blue wires connect to each other. Just as in the picture, there are 2 blue ones. One that's connected to the antenna connector, and the other is attached to the wiring harness. Just connect the two.

I think Eonon may be working on a new adapter that should get better reception, so you may want to follow the GA5153 thread to get updates on that.
