Call me crazy but I put mine on top of my back passenger wheel. I either run on a base or on a trail somewhere so not a lot of people around. I just slip it back there while im stretching. You can only see it if you get eye level with it.

Did one on my mk6. Looked nice and clean but often I'd find myself trying to switch it on to clear the rear window. I threw the motor out as soon as I took it out to so there was no going back lol

Not a fan of jet black limo tint but I'd like it to be a little darker. The angles in the pics make it look darker than it is in person I think. 35% is just a tad too light. I think 25 or 20% would be perfect. Went legal limit though cause like you said, no one needs those legal troubles Sent...
