Can anyone give me specific details as to what takes place when Race mode is selected? I have heard a dozen stories that range from "maybe to absurd". Just curious.

When the car reaches the factory default shift point there is a momentary lag/hesitation after it shifts, almost like you are driving a manual trans and "speed shifting" (lifting off the throttle while changing gears) instead of power shifting (not lifting between gear selections)

Hesitation between gears, WOT, Race mode, letting the trans shift automatically, doesn't appear to be on the rev limiter.

R model with DSG trans. Under full throttle there is a momentary hesitation when the trans shifts to the next higher gear. Anyone have any idea

At what mileage should Haldex differential service be performed on 2019 "R"?

Probably not. I'm happy with the performance as it is. I have no plans to track the car....at present.

Does the Cobb Tune (or for that matter any TUNE) software leave a trail when it is removed from the ECU? Can VW service dept easily determine if the car has had a tune? I am a new owner of a 2019 R and still trying to educate myself about the car and what I can or cannot do.

Does anyone have any experience with AMS cold air intake kits? Specifically the carbon fiber kit. Any noticeable difference in performance?
