hey I’m having issues with the basic settings part— I’ve done all the wiring, installation. 4B only has the one error (basic light settings), 29 & 39 have no errors, & D6/7 both have one error each. The only step I can’t successfully code is this damn basic setting part.

what is the part number for a compatible gateway module in a mk7.5?

I believe the 4B and the CAN Gateway are separate parts. -- The other question I had for the posters here is if this adapter set can be used instead of the aliexpress harness linked in OP: https://www.kufatec.com/en/volkswagen/vw-golf/golf-7-5q/adapter-for-bi-xenon-with-led-drl-for-vw-golf-7-40208

i know a guy parting out a totaled 2018 Golf R-- is the 4B module easy to get to ? I'm having a hard time figuring out how to access it.

anyone know how this retrofit changes with the advent of the mk7.5 halogens with the led strip? this thread is awesome but applies moreso to the mk7 gen

Dope— thanks so much. Any need for like pliers to remove the needles? Someone on a thread I read was saying you gotta keep it clamped as you remove or it can de-calibrate or something (idk)
