You might try throwing a couple of gallons of ethanol in the tank and see if that helps to clean up some of that timing pull.
But yeah, if you haven't checked out OS and simostools you should. It's way better than Eurodyne IMO (and Cobb too). This coming from the guy who went down the path of...
Yeah that's my bad. I don't go back to the first page of the thread when I notice it bump back up to the top. 16 pages so far and most of it anecdotal nonsense with no real data.
It sucks that you had a shitty experience with TPC. I had a shitty turbo from Mabo. Maybe I should start a post...
How does show that your setup spools as well or better than mine?
How you can even remotely compare this to mine is laughable. I’ve seen plenty of Vortex and Vortex XL logs. From what I’ve seen mine spools faster than most and uses a lot less gate up top. Buddy of mine with a built motor...
It is a performance cover. And it hits 28psi around 3500 rpm in 3rd. Can a vortex spool that quickly in 3rd?
I start ramping up the boost at 5k and hit around 32 psi by 6k. Not sure what you’re seeing there. I don’t hear any surge or flutter.

That appears to be the same unit. I believe they all come out of the same factory.
Everything seems to work. Like others have mentioned, the water temp gauge reads in °C and the quantity to refuel reads...

Doesn’t look like there has been a software update as it said my firmware was up-to-date.
I never claimed that TPC turbos are the best. There are a lot of good choices out there at the moment.
I have no regrets with my TPC25. Spools quick, carries out boost to 7400 rpm. TPC38 flows better without sacrificing hardly any spool which is why the TPC25 isn’t being offered anymore...
