Your VCDS dongle is too old to read all the code properly, as can be seen in these messages: [New feature! Extended UDS fault detail is only supported by current gen. interfaces] I think you need to buy a newer dongle if you are going to diagnose more these modules.

I would start by trying with an SD card formatted to FAT32 and try again.

I tried them all. The only one with Canada maps is "P336_N60S5MIBH3_NAR_2023-2024" I downloaded all these: P370 is Europe maps. The other remaining 2 both don't have a Mib1 folder. "P356_N60S5MIBH3_NAR_V03959803AR_0356_2024_02310034" only has Alaska maps :LOL:

I just downloaded the file "P376_N60S5MIBH3_NAR_NT_Q3.23_2024-2025_02310036 FULL" and I was disappointed to see that it only contains USA maps. But also it only contains a folder called "Mib1" and no "MiB2" folder like it says in the metainfo file.

Should work as dummy. Try it and if it fails then fill in your VCRN and VIN in those files.

You only need to add the FECs you want to add.

I am considering doing this as I'm in the exact same situation (same car). What are the downsides of using M.I.B. to add the FEC code? My car is still under warranty. After M.I.B. is installed and the FEC added, does a soft code show up in the 5F module when scanning with VCDS/OBDeleven?

Never ended up buying it. If I were to pull the trigger now I would go with the Bosch 62840 and not the VW version. You can get the Bosch ones in Canada or FCP Euro.

You shouldn't be smelling coolant after. They probably spilled coolant when changing it and didn't clean up and now it's burning off. What I did when I changed this part on my car was hose down the area around the fitting and the turbo with water. Never had a coolant smell after. Check to see if...

I would try swapping the module from left to right and see if the problem follows. Looks like you need to pull up a wiring diagram and start looking for water damaged wiring. Checking the grounds is a good idea too.
