I know, the lightest I've found at reasonable prices are from Brembo, at 7.3 kg for 288mm and 8.6 kg for 312 mm discs. ATE Powerdisc seem to be close as well.
I could find a new airbag on the greyish market for ~200 EUR (recovered units could be bought a bit cheaper). I was advised to also get a new airbag cable (the short one handling the large current at the time of deployment). If I get the airbag computer reprogramed and the fault codes go away...
Apparently yes they are, I bought a new EU version and it fits alright. Haven't got the chance to test it yet :)
I'm not sure about the airbag computer, that has to be (re)programed and mine still has an error, but that's probably due to the new seatbelts :)
You could give TrackAddict a go, it seems to be regarded as significantly more accurate than the rest of them. The company developing it is also into motorsports and they seem to put a lot of work into improving it. I'll also try it... come summer, when the engine will feel better as well :)
Thanks I don't care about any device. There are several android gps aps for phones, those are the only ones I am interested in. There is a "dragy" among them, but it is poorly rated. The highest rated on the playstore is "TrackAddict" by HPTuners (also mentioned on other forums as accurate)...
After searching ETKA it seems there is a secondary oil temp sensor, part code 06K919525. If correct it is probably the little fucker that's been giving me bad oil sensor readings. I'm still not sure if it is the blue one in the first pic or not.
So this car keeps getting weirder. Went today to a private VAG specialist shop with access to VW servers and flashed the latest official ECU on the car. But that was the least of it :) Car had begun to pull slighty better since yesterday and today it got noticeably better before I flashed it...
