The only mk7s with handbrakes were manufactured in Mexico to my knowledge so you’re probably looking for a super basic model sold somewhere in Latin America (if it exists at all).
No it's not. I just personally wouldn't buy a used performance car with that many miles without knowing the car's history. Especially one that was imported internationally
I'd be voiding the warranty very quickly if I got another mk7 instead of an 8. Would be throwing a vortex xl and a bunch of other stuff on it. Mileage is a bigger concern for me.

20th Anniversary here is 2024 so there should be a bit more time for supply chains etc to get caught up based on that time frame. Unless we are going to have a 19th anniversary edition next year. 2023 is the 40th anniversary of the GTI in the US... wonder if there's anything coming for that...
