It's the dongle used for SimosTools. Same thing as a Machina A0 because they have been OOS forever.

What did the replacement cost? I had a key die last week. Just died! tried new battery and nothing. Was it hard time program it to the car?

The key was $170 + tax and that doesn't include the programming. Have to get it done at the dealer this week and that will run me $70.....and the new key didn't come with the silver GTI end cap. Not needed....but yeah I needed one.

Yeah my Touareg’s BSM system comes like this. I like it a lot, especially the bright flashes from the passengers side when I put my right blinker on and someone’s fast approaching/in my blind spot.
Step one of TT-S brake upgrade….lines. @VAG Parts Bin did a phenom write up on all the parts required

You drive that little? I’m gonna pull mine at my next oil change which should be right at 10k on the plugs, I have another set to swap in if they don’t look good.
