Wanted to update this.
I contacted Forge about the length of the tube. Eventually we confirmed it is too short. So, even though I bought it used, they offered to send me a new one for the cost of shipping. They are a really stand up company and they have a customer for life.

Well, I painted my calipers, but haven’t installed them yet. See the thread here

I flashed to a stage 1 tune today. What a hoot this car is now.

I am currently tearing apart my kitchen, so the car will get driven and washed until my cabinets are hung.

Got my calipers on and while I was at it changed the pads and rotors. I also cleaned the wheel wells really good. They were gross. Put my summer tires back on and coated the rims to see if I could keep the brake dust down a little. That’s all. Here’s pics.

Thnx I’ll appreciate it
Didn’t forget about you. I haven’t had a chance to really put the strut bar to the test, but I have noticed some changes.

The front end over bumps feels ever so slightly more firm, not drastically, but it’s there.

The small creaking and such I would get coming in and out of the driveway are all but gone. I will be curious to see if this tracks into the colder winter months.

The front end when pushed, even a little, does not feel as washed out or vague. Keep in mind this is on shit tires. Once I get some stickier and newer tires on there, probably next summer, I’m sure it will wake the hell up.

All in all for the small amount I got to push it, I’m happy with this. It does pretty much what I expected. I can’t beat it for the price. I will do my best to update you the more time I get to drive it.

This weekend was very productive and I’m not finished.

I took advantage of my wife being away and having her car available.

Finally got around to installing my BMS intercooler V1. I’ve had this sitting in my garage for nearly a year. Then my car got hit and I had a new front fascia ready to go on.

A lot of people complain about this job, I didn’t find it all that bad. Since this is a V1 intercooler there was a fitment issue, nothing some quick filing didn’t take care of.

I started the long process of disassembling the old fascia. What a pain. I did about 2 hours Saturday and another 2 Sunday morning. My fingers were killing me. Pressure washed the parts and started assembly. About another hour there. Me and my daughter hung it. She did great.

The body shop did a stellar job of paint match. It looks perfect.

I took advantage of the bumper being in pieces and wrapped the lower chrome strip in matte black. I only have the side emblems to black out. I hate chrome and chrome like products.
