Oh, that is weird because the PDF that it came with had, i quote :

"10 Park assist: Long Coding ->byte2 > BIT4-5 - 10 Camera type: rear view camera (RVC) instaled"
I only knew that you dont enable the (lowline camera in 5F)

The camera is Parametrizied. it does not have "00000000"

Basicaly here is what i´ve connected the camera. With VCDS 1. Added camera in Can Gateway instalation list.
2 .6C Module apeared ( I can do output tests) It wont let me change anything in long coding.
3. 10 Park assist changed long coding to RVC instaled.
4. Adaptations 5F ....BAP_VPS activated
....BAP_VPS_MSG_BUS Databus infotaiment
5. Restarted the radio

Sorry, no, you're completely correct. It's been a while since I carried out this retrofit and I was indeed confusing it with the RVC coding in 5F.

You absolutely do need to code in Park Assist module.

Can you please share a VCDS Auto Scan?

I’m not currently in the Car but this was the only error that camera had. The seccond error is the same.
I currently can work with only this info..

What i found..
If i code in 5F (lowline camera) and put the Car in reverse it shows the black camera screen. If i then manualy open the camera with output test it opens and I can see the camera feed.
There is no other way how can I open the camera.

It was "original" when i bought it. Turned out it was a clone I mean it costed like 50€. So i use it mostly for me and friends when we need something quick.
So ok I can accept that. Thank you for your help anyways..

I refuse to assist any further on that basis. The guys at RossTech do not deserve to be stolen from.

Purchase a legitimate interface and register to the RossTech forum, verify your purchase, and then I'll be prepared to help further.

I completely agree. I think a genuine HexNet interface is a hell of a good deal for 200$ for what it's worth. The guys at Ross-Tech are really putting hard work into it.

What people don't get when they buy a clone is that if we, as customers, won't purchase genuine products, then one day they will just stop manufacturing this. The least we can do is buy an original genuine interface to pay them back.

Hi,

I just installed a highline camera and the installation went fine but its not working 100%...

I have coded according to below and I have image and can switch between camera modes.
But now I have the issue that no guide lines are displayed at all and the parking sensors overlay are not available. EDIT: went for a short drive and now parking sensor overlay is working, but still no guidelines.

I also get following errors:
The rear camera module, gives error: Databus missing message.
Parking assist and airbag gives error: Databus error value received
steering assistance, gives error: "Steering angle sensor- not initialized"
gateway - gives error: Additional installations detected

Does anyone have any idea? My car has parking sensors front and back if that matters.

Please let me know if more info or pictures is needed.

@ejje : hmm......... too much information missing to be precise about the cause of the problem (could be lots of reasons) !! Perhpa best place to start is for you to post-up FULL listing of the long-code string on the new hex 6C module. I'm concerned about the Steering angle sensor fault - you will need to deal with this by completing a Basic Setting procedure (I suspect)
