Just got my TPC38 BB installed today. Made 473whp/430wtq on full e85. We'll see how long it lasts.

Name each tuner that said the turbo was dog shit. Right now. Post it up. Lets go bud.

My mechanic that installed it and tuned it with Fred from UM said, "it is a pig" and Fred said he doesn't like hybrids in general and that he wouldn't push the TPC20 past 380whp/wtq.

And, this new TPC38BB is pushing 30 psi at 4500rpm, almost 1000rpm later than an is38. Very close to dog/pig territory if not already there. For now, I'm happy with the bump in power but as I drive it more, we shall see how the laginess effects my chances on keeping this.

Glad you posted this. I didn’t want to say Fred or UM specifically bc I know that was info you told me and I didn’t want to bring it up. But glad you brought it up.

True. That’s my mistake. Good point you make. But it is what it is. All the convo is posted up. I have nothing to hide. Most of the convo wasn’t relevant so I didn’t post it all. But there it is. Like I said before. If anyone has issue with what I’ve said ask about it.

fact remains: Three turbos blown in less than 3k miles each. Told not to talk about it. Employees pushing the turbos hard. Just letting people know it’s not that great in my experience. Buyer beware, take your chances.
