I have no inspections, no emissions, and E85 readily available. I do live in the middle of nowhere though but no one can go anywhere and do anything now anyways so no big loss there....

I ran E85 in my FR-S for 5 summers in a row, with no mods to the fuel system besides the E-85 tune itself. When I would swap from 94oct gas to E85, I'd simply run the gas close to empty then fill with E-85 and flash the tune and drive soft for 30 miles or so. Then I was ready for the 'races'. Never experienced any fuel system issues throughout the 100,000km I owned the car, or any other issues for that matter. That said - I understand I am comparing apples to oranges here.

It does suck though, when the car in front of you has no working brake lights. I just avoid people who clearly don't care about their cars.
There's an E85 pump convenient enough to me to make E30 worth doing, but not full on E85. It's about a 25 minute round trip. I don't mind going and filling 25 gallons of gas containers once every 7 weeks, but that's about the limit of hassle I'll put up with.

wouldn't it be easier to just syphon it out of the spot where gas is filled.

Oh, and no front plates either. $250 for a new sticker and good to go. That's about what I pay for 6 months of full coverage insurance as well.
