Over the years we have been getting requests now and then for activating the PWM on our meth kits. You can switch to PWM by turning Bit7 to On in the water methanol section. To control the meth spray amount the Duty bias column is used. Range is 10 to 100 and you can set per rpm point as you want. We havent seen a benefit of using it but if anyone wants to play around or has a special circumstance as per the picture which had severe overfueling and trim swings they can try it.

Hi guys! First post.

IE catted downpipe is going on tomorrow and I want to dial in my map 6 once it does. A couple questions that maybe someone can answer...

1. It looks like start with logs of map 2 and then use that as a base for map 6 then tweak from there. Is that correct?
2. I only have 91oct at altitude (Denver). Can I safely run map 2 on it or should I be throwing a gallon of e85 in every tank to increase the oct rating?

Diggs theorem: ICB4DP.

If you have access to E85, I'd blend more like 2-3 gallons in there. But again logs will tell the tale especially at your altitude.

Please help.

Was considering switching from Unitronic Stage 2 to Maestro, but JB4 seems to be cheaper and I am just looking for fuel control to get the most out of my car with its current mods. Also going IS38 soon. Will JB4 fit my needs, or should I spend the extra for Maestro? What does the extra cost with Maestro gain me in features over the Jb4 ? Anyone that has done this let me know please.

You have no fueling control with JB4.

Hey all, thanks in advance for taking a look! Just installed JB4 today and pulled some logs from Map2.

You have to set all fuel bias to 100, running lean now.

I would raise boost safety to 27 now in summer, log is ok otherwise but make sure you get the best CA91 or mix in some E85 to run map2 or more.

Thanks for taking a look! I did another pull with the fuel bias set to 100. When you say best CA91, would top-tier gas like Chevron and Shell be good choices?

The gas you have in the tank currently is not good enough for map2 and above, I think 76 and Shell is the recommended pumps by EQT in the bay area and Chevron should be avoided.

If you can get E85 just mix in 2-3 gallons and raise FOL to 60, otherwise you have to keep an eye on timing pull on ign_1-4.

Ign_1 should have a steady advance without hard drops and ign_2-4 should not have to constantly pull timing on multiple cylinders like this.

Thanks for the quick response! I've been mixing Chevron, Shell, and 76, but I guess I'll have to drop Chevron from that list.
I haven't done any E85 mix before so before doing some research I thought I'd increase the gas quality by putting in some 100 oct racing fuel (~4.8 gallons).

Here are a few pulls with 100mix @ Map 2:

This is Map 1 logging pre-100 mix

EDIT:
My logs seem to be all over the place... I'll try to do a clean pull later today.

Thanks guys!

Here's two logs on I did once it cooled down. Map 2, 91oct, 5400ft altitude. My AFR's seem to be a little rich? You guys notice anything to tweak for Map 6?

Not enough full throttle data. 3rd gear, 2500-3000 rpm. Start logging. Roll the throttle on to the floor and hold it there. Take it to redline, shift, keep it floored for a few seconds then stop the log.
