Just wanted to let everyone know that the Michelin Cup 2's are really amazing. I was hesitant to get them especially as a 245 vs. a 235 but WOW the grip on these in dry weather is unrivaled. My MK7 is a Eurodyne stage 2 and I'm sitting on racingline springs and have 0 rub at all angles and during aggressive driving. I did do the fender bolt delete just to be safe. I was using Michelin Pilot Super Sports prior to my Cup 2's (235/40/18) and was unable to maintain steady grip in 2nd gear. But with the Cup 2's and upgrading to 245's when warm I have grip almost the entire time in 2nd gear. So if you aren't concerned about the lower tread wear rating and you drive in mostly warm weather these are perfect. They do look a bit meatier but I personally like the look. This is for anyone that was looking at doing a similar setup with springs since I couldn't find much about 245 Michelin's anywhere and I decided to just be a test dummy. My rims are Neuspeed RSE10s with the VW centercap (18x8.5)
