You need to either have a dealership or shop that has access to ODIS to code the cluster to your car. During that process, they will remove component protection, immobilizer, sync your keys, etc.

30k oil change. 9k mi/4 mos on oil coming out. Used Ceratec last time so that's going to be good for 30k miles so went with MoS2 this time to try it. Used oil analysis should be interesting this ho around.

Full paint correction + System X Pro Ceramic after some PDR (betcha can’t guess which panel got whacked). Paint looks better than when I bought it 11 months ago.

Cleaned the milky looking residue from the front of my HID projector lenses through the static cornering light bulb hole, I used a home made tool consisting of strong but pliable bare solid copper wire and glasses lens cleaning wipes attached to the end with a small zip tie, just need to do the same on the inside of the projector but will need to remove the headlights to do so!

Removed the 85Da motor mount and put stock back in and added some badgeskin and everything vinyl products got the Mario cart ones for the otherside but since I don’t have blank buttons there (added for a incognito garage door button by means of “tire pressure” lol)

My GTI is a 6MT and NGP charged me $250 for the programming with ODIS. Although, I pretty much brought my car to them with everything set up so they didnt have to rip my car apart to run the fiber optic line. All they had to do was program the cluster and that's it. I'm sure NGP would charge more if you have them do the whole retrofit but, taking apart the trim/cluster to run the fiber optic line was pretty simple...scary at first but very simple. All you need is a bone tool, radio removal tools, and a T20 torx.
