I had similar issue with turbosmart DV when installed on my TT V5, swapped back to the factroy DV and no more boost climbing issue.

I was using TURBOSMART KOMPACT EM PLUMB BACK DV VR1 (P/N: TS-0223-1263). Currently running factory DV and boost is following the request 2.1-2.2bar.
