Hi all,

I have have had my GTI for just over a week now so it is about time I started a thread for it!

Specs from the factory:
2019 SE
Pure white
Manual transmission (obviously)
Experience package (DCC & Fender audio)
Sunroof
Monster mats
Trunk liner + cargo net & luggage blocks

Here he/she is shortly after arrival at the dealer. I am still working on a German name for it!

Updates at the Dealer

It didn't take me long to personalize s(him). Had the dealer put on the the 18" Pretoria's and black Golf R mirror caps before I took it home. Very happy with my decision to do this right away!

In related news... if anyone has been dreaming of some brand new stock wheels for a good price in Central Texas you know who to contact...

Thanks, I love them.
Was a little nervous while ordering them because I originally wanted 19” Pretorias due to the darker color and bigger presence but was worried about ride quality long-term.
In person, the 18s look bigger than in pictures and I quite like the color. Eventually I may get them powder coated to a darker gray but that won’t be until I wear through these all-seasons and am on the look out for summer rubber so will enjoy the sterling silver until then at least.

I know how you feel, I work in a VW dealership as a mechanics and everytime I see those wheels passing by I have to remind myself that I'm saving money for track wheels

Dallas / Milton Keynes Wheels for Sale - SOLD

All 4 immaculate and in boxes. Unused VW center caps included.
I can't call them new as they were on the car in the lot before the dealer switched them out but they are as close as you can get without actually being new. I have documentation from the dealer proving they were taken off before I took delivery.
I am in Bryan, TX and would prefer a local sale if possible.

Looks great! Crazy how different the car looks with the silver Pretorias.

I have a Rabbit with the gloss black ones. They both look good, in different ways.

You’re right - huge difference.
I like the black Pretorias on the Rabbits,just on the white GTIs I felt they get lost / almost look sunken... if that make sense!?!

Yep, agree. I nice bright sun, they look awesome as the gloss reflects the light nicely. But with darker skies they can get "lost" under the lack of light.
