As for the Rich Energy thing, I am not sure what to think. It sounds like high school gamesmanship between people on the board and the CEO.

This is the latest: https://twitter.com/rich_energy/status/1149670559296307200?s=19

Seems the original CEO, "Storey" is still in control of the twitter account and thats a legal document written for Haas to the Rich Energy shareholders attempting to "oust" Storey... the whole thing is very intriguing, it also came out today they have like 500 pounds cash in their statements....

I had to read it a couple times but to me it came off as saying:

1) Hi, Haas F1 asked us to contact you after you directly contacted Guenther Steiner (aka please don't contact Haas or Guenther Steiner directly again)

2) Haas has said they would be happy to talk to you about a continued business relationship, however only if you can show proof you are in control of the company (aka we only talk to the guy in charge, so don't bother us until you have your shit sorted)

3) We really don't see how you will ever be the guy in charge given the lay of the shares and assets, not to mention the money you owe Whyte Bikes for copyright infringement of their logo. (aka thanks for playing)

Given Rich Energy's rise out of nothing in a very short time, something tells me the company is about implode. Sucks for Haas as it means they need to find sponsorship money from someone else. Bet they wish they got the pink car sponsor money instead of Sahara Force India/Racing Point.

How about that Lewis Hamilton getting the fastest lap on shredded hard tires on the final lap?

GET IN THERE LEWIS

Great race. Vettel chokes once again. Hard to believe Max could carry on & finish after such a hit. Hamilton wins at home!

Can’t say it’s a choke. He was so busy fighting Max, he forgot to brake for the turn and locked up.

But definitely his mistake.

Choke or forgot to brake the results are the same. Quite a screw up for a top level F1 driver. His teammate is faster than him & Max was also faster. There is desperation in the way Vettel is driving. That crash is something Maldonado would have done.

All that being said I hope Vettel can get his mojo back.

it wasn't so much "forgot to brake" as both of them were fighting right to the VERY limit of braking zone before the corner, and the cars just ended up with seb's wing getting *NO* air over it, which caused the lockup.

it was extremely refreshing to see him jog over to Max in parc ferme and apologize before max could even get out of his car. that's a different Seb than the one even earlier this season blaming everyone else for his own foibles.

one *HELL* of a race, and Lewis absolutely proved the haters can suck it, with that fastest lap at the end. Those tires were completely gone and he just cruised like it weren't no thang.

Max with a broken floor/seat, going through over 12G delta between two of the corners on track....for SEVERAL laps, let alone one....the younger crew is DEFINITELY going to keep the sport going for several years after Lews/Seb/Kimi are done.

what a damn race. what a damn race.

It was very similar to the Red Bull Baku 2018 crash, where the person behind attempts to drive the inside too late, realizes there is no space, attempts to move back outside while loosing front end downforce from the car in front that at this point is way to close....

No one said "Riccardo choked" when that happened.... good race... feel bad for Bottas, Lando too, got the bad deal of the SC... loved the Leclerc and Verstappen fight, but all the Ferrari / Red Bull fighting allowed the mercs to pull away.... instead of winning easily, they won super easily...

Nah, that honor was bestowed squarely on Grosjean coming out of the pits during FP1. :D That was a true Maldonaderp moment. Nobody else around to possibly contribute, damaged the car, totally preventable by not being retarded. Checks all the boxes. :D
