Cannot fast forward song using iphone/discover media

I test drove a mk7 GT with discover media infotainment.

I plugged my iphne in to the iphone cable. I have some large mixes on there, about 1 hour in length.

The mix started to play but when i touched the progress slider atthe bottom and tried to skip forward a few minutes, it would not allow me and a message att he top of the screen said "function unavailable" or similar.

Is there a setting to allow me to scroll forward in a song ? Or is this not possible ?

Bump Same problem!

dont know about hour long mixs but normal songs even long ones like 10 mintues fast forward for me. havent had full sets on the iphone to try it out sorry. although I normally have it connected by bluetooth, not thevlead. try Bluetooth and see if it works.
