As i was browsing this forum before my MK7 was delivered, i noticed serveral posts about the chrome 'yeti' exhaust tips not fitting for the 1.6 TDi.
cry no more, a perfect alternative has been found for the 1.6 (single pipe) !!
at your local audi concession you need to order exhaust tips from the audi A3 1.6 TDi (part number: 8P0 071 771)
it's the same easy installation as the yeti tips, no need to modify your pipe end, just slide them on (no need for hammer by the way)

the only possible downside: an audi logo on the trim, but nearly invisible since it's on the bottom
