This is the Golf MK7 Comfortline with Audi RS4 Style Wheels 18". Just sharing the pics of my new toy.

Like the wheels, had it still got the transport blocks in when that pic was taken? Looks way high in the pic but would explain it sitting lower now.

thanks guys...it does still has a bit of space between tyre and the hood but it will do fine for me now...maybe after a few years i can upgrade and lower them...or get bigger 19" wheels :D

looks better. not a fan of any of the stock mk7 wheels at the moment

Hi mate...the wheels are just Audi replica 18" wheels...not sure where they bought them but im happy with them...they even fit in a customized VW cap on them :D

Very nice, I love the wheels. I'm sorry to say that IMO Volkswagen have screwed the pooch on almost all of the Mk7 wheel designs which are ugly and vulgar to my taste, whereas the Mk6 offered some great designs.

Why lower, just makes an otherwise beautiful car look like a boy-racer/pimp-mobile.

Rob have you seen all the MK7 wheels in flesh? Just out of curiosity :D

Not all, but quite a few. The thing I particularly dislike are the ones with the diamond-cut black facings. I'm perhaps a tad conservative - but I am also a certified old fart.

To give an example, I loved the Mk6 Golf R wheels Talladega whereas I loath the Mk7 Golf R wheels. I also dislike black or white wheels.

To be honest, I was saddened when the Mk7 was released to see the wheels on offer, whereas I liked almost everything else on offer.
