oh and i bought my self this cool mug too, something to cheer me up in the office :p


I also got my wife a nice GTI t-shirt, all from VW Booth at the Dubai Auto Show (Which was amazing), they had many other GTI items such as caps, t-shirts, towels, key chains, sport bags and many other stuff.

probably going to visit the Dubai VW showroom every month to get my self such goodies :rolleyes:

I threw the box away, but here's the part number written in the bill

It was hand written, not sure if second character is a "G" or a "6"

Thanks. I'll price it with my dealer. I'd say it starts with 5G as that means mk7 golf.

Ya it's a lovely interior. I had full leather in my mk4 and didnt like it. Everything in my signature is an optional extra here though :-(

I'm happy with my full leather, just might of been happier with half leather :D

Don't you find full leather rather a shock to the system in Oman after the car has been sitting for a while in the sun.

I remember getting into my car with leather upholstery (I'm ashamed to admit it was a Renault) in 43˚c back in July 2003 in mainland Europe and almost getting burnt.

I have v-kool tint and always put the sun shade on. It was never too hot to enter the car.

Interesting - I almost got burnt several times. Needless to say up here in NE Scotland it's not a problem very often.
