I have seen posts here about condensation in the headlamps, mine had it too, but just as the handbook suggests, it will go away (and remain away it would seem) .

I'd noticed some condensation on the inside of my bi-xenon's + LED's this morning. It occurs on the inner lamps just like your photo. By the afternoon it has disappeared. I'm not too worried about it, as it's light condensation rather than water droplets. If you see actual water inside the polycarbonate lens, then it's probably a faulty seal but other than that I wouldn't worry much about it.

MY car is going into dealers tomorrow to get the Xenon/Led's plus the P/S spotlightlooked at, the spot light is unreally for condensation. So will keep ya's posted on outcome.

My dealer told me this is just the way it is, nothing to do with it. Not from VW's side anyway.

This is expected to happen in the fall in Norway, lots of rain, fog and low tempratures.

So i spoke to the dealer, they said its normal. But it should dissapear after 30 your lights are on. They said when i have the problem to jump in so they can check it propperly. It still odd that it gets condens :)

VW told me that they are ordering a new spot kight for my Golf, told me Xenons are fine even after i showed them the condensation, wouldnt replace the shit wiper blades that i put back on just to annoy them as i have Aerotwins fitted normally. they new the alarm was going off but needed the car for a cple of days so that it can go off for them as they didnt know how to fix it. Great visit to the dealer all round. And to top it all off my boss who got a C Class 4weeks before me had Mercedes ring him to book his car in for a free diagnostic and software check up.... CUSTOmER SERVICE VW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder why ??

Did they miss something at PDI or is there a campaign issue with that model ?
Can't see them doing that on a brand new car just for the sake of it.
More proactive than VW however.

Hope they figure out your own alarm problem.

I thought that aswell, so i have access to Mercedes diagnostic equiment and run a quick check and nothing popped up, but in saying that the equipment is connected to wireless so talks directly to Germany so it may have automatically updated.

Yeah alarm is starting to get on my titties abit, off again yest at a shopping car park!!
