well thats interesting driving around yet stuck in gear a sensor must be going haywire i wonder what the dealer will say

I wonder if you have a marginal battery? Many times with these complicated cars a marginal battery that has more than usual voltage drop during cranking can cause the TCU/ECU to "see" all kinds of errors, or glitches, induced by a temporary lower than usual voltage drop.

Anyone have any ideas...im racking my brain here and im almost tempted to say eff it and just enjoy it.....no issues at all with driveability and no engine lights...i dont really want to take to the dealer as its a paint to have to remove everything...

I would save the codes on your computer, clear them, and see if anything comes back. Unless you continue to get faults from the transmission, forget it and move on.

Update....at the advice of my service advisor, he said unplug battery for 15 mins and drive and try again....low and behold, codes all gone.....thanks guys...

I have got exactly the same problem now, same codes. Never had a problem with dsg before. This is very worrying..
Are you still having issues or was it solved?
